Since 1986, United Way of Bemidji Area has served our community and taken a leadership role in ensuring the lives of those who live here are improved.
With your help, United Way advances the common good by creating opportunities for a better life for all. Through your investment, United Way is able to address the critical needs that matter most to you and our community, and create a meaningful difference in people's lives by: investing in nonprofit health and human service programs and services that address the most critical needs and deliver the greatest impact possible; implementing community impact initiatives and support year round programs that address new and emerging needs; and, forming strategic partnerships and collaborations—sharing responsibility and accountability for delivering meaningful and long-lasting results.
Our focus is on basic needs, health, and education - the building blocks for a good quality of life.
Basic Needs - meeting basic needs of food, shelter, safety and inclusiveness.
Health - promoting wellness and health care access.
Education - preparing children to succeed in school and youth to succeed in the community.
United Way recruits people and organizations who bring the passion, expertise and resources needed to get things done. We invite you to be a part of our work.
You can give, you can advocate and you can volunteer.
That’s what it means to LIVE UNITED.
