Who We Are

CHI St. Joseph’s Health of Park Rapids is an award-winning, 25-bed critical access hospital located in the heart of lake country. Fully accredited by The Joint Commission, we offer a full range of services including 24/7/365 Emergency Department and Level IV Trauma Center, hospitalist program, testing, surgery, rehabilitation, and more so that you can experience better health. Volunteers Services are available in support of our mission.

CHI St. Joseph's Health combines state-of-the-art technology with personalized care to create a welcoming, healing environment. Our purpose goes beyond helping people overcome illness or injury. We work to build healthier communities for our residents, friends, and neighbors so they can experience better health. We partner with local agencies and organizations to strengthen healthcare programs offered in the community – providing more people access to care.

Volunteer Services are offered to enhance the patient and guest experience. Volunteers serve in a wide variety of service-driven roles:

• Departmental volunteers: Community Health, Foundation, Gift Shop, Orthopedics & Spine Surgery, Spiritual Care and more...
• Information Desk Greeters: East Entrance, South Entrance, Waiting Room
• Specialized roles: Patient Transport, Hospice Care, Senior Companion
• Fundraising: Auxiliary and Hospice Care
